Buttevant is celebrating 700 years as a walled town.
As part of our celebrations, Buttevant Heritage Group is organising the above conference, with the support of the Irish Walled Town Network and we would like you to attend our conference.
North Cork aims to be central to a visitors’ heritage and activity experience of Munster. We wish to focus attention on what we, as small Irish towns, can contribute to heritage tourism and rural development. Rural development depends on the combined work of community and heritage groups with local businesses that support tourism and this conference gives these groups the opportunity to explore challenges and solutions.
The participation of different stake holders is crucial to a full discussion of this subject. The conference is free, but registration is essential.
